There are some clouds around #8 ownership and operation. Not likely you'll see it run between Gold Hill and VC. Remember it tackled that 4% grade out of Gold Hill for several seasons. Would be nice to see something like picnic trains from Gold Hill to Haywards, maybe in conjunction with the Gold Hill Hotel? There's potential, but issues to overcome.
