By 1987, when I moved to Patterson, it was just the Westside Hauler and the line was all restricted speed, even though it was through and the signals were still working.

You had the seasonal beet trains in April-May.

Only saw the reroutes run that one time, they were the only through trains (except maybe the hauler in the early days) I ever saw when I lived in Patterson.

The Hauler would putz down the line at restricted speed and the crossing gates would go down and it would seem like an eternity before the train would get there.
