That's my read, the last hurdle is the final safety stuff they had to complete, and once that is signed off on it would appear they can operate under the current agreement.

Some of the safety equipment, it would appear from recent posts, is not done yet. But, most of the crosssing gates and things can be activated, or arms installed, pretty quickly. I thought they may have had a bridge issue and some track dynamics issues affecting proposed operating speeds that they also had to deal with. There hasn't been much reported lately, though.

I would like to hear more reports from the folks up there who "like trains" about what's going on? As opposed to the usual speculative postings on the p###ing contest over the most recent developments in neo-Luddite Marin County politics.
