I don't know Mr. Rowland, but it would seem that it should be quite easy to defend his reputation and stature without insulting Tom Payne, whom I assume is the person you're referring to in your above post.

I do know Tom Payne, and can assure you he is far from a "dimwit who knows nothing about putting together a first rate operation". He was a pioneer of the shortline movement in Canada, and his Rail Link roads were well run professional FIRST RATE operations.

Riding commuter coaches to see the less attractive parts of Tacoma at $50 a head isn't my cup of tea, but having your business go under doesn't mean you're a dimwit. Taking a risk on something you believe in is, I think, a Good Thing, but sometimes risk wins out over hope.
