Speaking of which, if that was such a dumb idea, I have to wonder why the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train just signed a contract to operate over the same route???

Maybe Tacoma Rail has a really good sales staff ("Honest, you'll get rich running on this line!") or maybe both operations saw potential in a shortline located in such a densely populated area.
