My wife and I recently ran our speeder as fire watch on the V&T. They do not use GMRS radio's. They have a number of UHF channels and use 5W hand held radio's. They do not have a fixed location repeater. Where permissible they also use cell phones. In an earlier thread someone posted a frequency from an Altamont time table, I set up my radio to this frequency but it was not one used by the crews I worked with. I never got round to getting the frequencies from them.
