Here you got the pin puller passing signals, the foreman considering the next move and the field man is likely down in the yard making a joint. Yes, it has changed a lot. Now you got one person out there with a remote control doing what used to be four people's job. Anyway, that's progress I guess.
I couldn't resist throwing in one more Alco switcher before we go on to another class. I could go on for months with Alco S3, S2, S4 and S6's. I want to revisit one class I missed back in the 1100's and then leap forward, to Eddystone's products!
Meanwhile, here is one last Alco switcher, S2 1780 at the Homestead Yard. This was a badly faded old Ektachrome Professional E3 120 slide and this was the best I could get from it!
