The UP is storing locomotives in Nampa, just like many other places across the system. None of them are for sale, at least at this point. In fact, some of the locomotives that had been stored there have actually been put back into service recently.

As for UP selling Dash 8s, well that is not happening yet. What did happen recently was a group of ex-C&NW C40-8s went back to the lessor at the expiration of their lease. There was no sale by the UP here. It is hard to sell something you do not own.
