I did hear that some of the Nampa deadline is being moved to MPI in Boise to be placed back in service. Over a year ago, the line had SW1500s, Dash 8s, SD40-2, SD60(M) and some of the early SD70s.

The day 844 came through a couple weeks ago, I noticed one freight with a C40-8 wrking hard - and it was NOT a wide cab. Another freight waiting for a meet had the usual ACs as the first two units, followed by one of the ealry SD70M (no flared radiators) that was dead (or maybe auto shut down), followed by a very live but ratty looking three window SD60M.

Even though it looks like UP is reactivating some stored power, Wallowa Union is supposed to be getting more centerbeams for storage.
