Nice shot, Mitch... but I don't remember the FP7s ever running to New York City (or Newark for that matter). They were used on the Pottstown/Reading line, and I think got serviced in Harrisburg, if I'm correct.
The Crusador and Wall Street of the 1970s were both run with RDCs (a mix of RDC1, RDC2, and RDC3, I think... have to go back to look at some of my earliest shots to confirm).
As an aside, dating back to Pennyslvania Railroad versus Reading rivalry, when the two trains from Reading Terminal were moved by the Aldene Plan to Penn Station Newark, the announcer would not say "Now departing for Philadelphia..." but rather "Now departing for Reading Terminal..."
