SP and SSW SW1200s from the 70s

It's time for another installment of the That 70's SP show. We are up to the SP 2200's. Thanks to everyone for the posts on the previous photos. I have been adding that information to my notes.

Photo 1: My dad took this photo of Cotton Belt SW1200 SSW 2259 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas in 1974 when he and my mom visited one of my brothers and his family in Arkansas.

Photo 2: Southern Pacific SW1200 2267 is in San Jose, California in February 1975.

Photo 3: Southern Pacific 2273, an SW1200, at the Ozol Yard in Martienez, CA on January 27, 1974. Note: This photo was taken on GAF 64 (Anscochrome) film which was cheap and not too bad when you developed it yourself. It was very low contrast which would make it good for scanning, not so good for procecting. Fuji Astia is a similar product today.

The problem was GAF processing. It terrible and the film got a bad reputation and was discontinued. I developed my own Ektachrome (E3 and E4) and GAF at this time in my life.

Suggestions, comments and/or corrections are appreciated.
