Thanks for the info.! And, what a coincidence, I opened todays' Eugene newspaper at lunch time, and there was an editorial about the importance of this line to our area, the coast, and the whole state of Oregon. It said that more funds had been sent to the Port, to get that line repaired and underway. Not only just open, but improved enough to raise the track speed from the 10 MPH it was limited to, to up to 45, in places. This will cut the crew labor in half, by making the run in one shift. I felt a little better after reading that article, and just hope that someone doesn't make a mess of the whole deal. I think this might be our last chance to get up steam again, and get things rolling, for a change. I hope to spend some of my up-coming vacation time cruising the line, and getting a few pics! Thanks again.
