Have the microphones really made a difference? Just asking. There was a TV news item awhile back that said something to the effect that in the first full year of operation, there had been no arrests that could be attributed to them and that it cost the city several million dollars extra because they had to hire retired cops to monitor the system.
And have you seen the new "security fence" that's sprouting up between Carlson Blvd. and the right of way? I wonder how long it'll take for the neighbors to cut holes in it?
