Lafayette, LA on the Sunset Route

A college buddy and I took the Greyhound to Lafayette one weekend in the early 70s just to ride the "Sunset" back to New Orleans. [We did similar trips with the "Panama Limited" and "Southern Crescent" in those years.]
Killing time in the old SP depot I noticed the waiting room benches were wood with a Sunset logo carved in them. Wonder if they survived until 1989 or where they are today.
This depot or the Lake Charles one burned down.
