A question regarding the Milwaukee Road GE U - 25 B (# 5057 ??? ) at the museum; what condition is it in ??? Is the carbody heavily rusted ??? Apparently it is currently in play, and has been offered to The Cascade Rail Foundation in S.Cle Elum, WA. This is the group that restored the Milwaukee Depot in town. They are interested in the unit, but need to know if a complete repainting would be required; also can the unit be moved DIT by rail ??? Thanks in advance for any current info.
