This is my first try at submitting photos...John West spent time with me this afternoon providing help and scanning.

I used to like to spend time in Mojave while I was stationed at Edwards AFB. There were plenty of trains and best of all, for a G.I., it was cheap entertainment.
Here's number 51 leaving town with am e/b Santa Fe drifting into the yard. Track in the foreground is the Jawbone or Lone Pine branch. It wasn't too long after this that the SDP-45 came on the scene and replaced the covered wagons on the passenger. Photo taken in February of 1967.
