PHL's AT&SF inspired (my claim!) tiger-striped SD-something No. 66 is enroute to Pasco, Wash billed for Progress Rail and is line 1 DIT on the Bar-Pas. It left Bakersfield around 22:00 this evening, Pearl Harbor Day. Also of interest, the consist features two CN covered wagons. It's worth a few pix if you can do it. The PHL unit is in immaculate appearance. It is in trail (long hood forward).
I would think sunrise should find it between Riverbank and Stockton, and will go via Keddie. Lead motor of the train is the BNSF 5445, followed by CN 2433, CN 2438 and BNSF 751 and then the PHL 66.
