George, I'm not really knowledgeable on cars, but I think the one that you cite was used
for transporting freshly picked bananas to the Port at Puerto Barrios, another 200 miles
or so east.
Dave Sell & I saw a banana extra leave Puerto Barrios for Bananera in April 1975 with
not one, but two steam locomotives, 165 & 174, both German built Krupps.
