1055 had a very unusual 4 chime whistle on her in the last few years. About the only manufacturer that I know of that made 4 chimes was an outfit named Kinsley and most all of theirs were small diameter examples. This one could have been home made.
1077 had a cast 5 chime, a very common type...2-8-2T 1066 @ Chemainus had a really mellow flat top 3 chime and Porter 2-6-2T had a cast 5 chime.
Another thing that I remember about 1055 was that she had a Hancock Inspirator for the firemans side...it didn't take long to get used to this when starting it. I thought it a pretty reliable feedwater device.
