Charles, I spent a full 6 months copying W. Johnson's timebook entries verbatim. There
was no additional info on this particular entry, although there were instances where
he did, like "dropped soft plug @ Metz, 3744 from King City". This was on #98 with
engine 4437, June 28, 1945. He was promoted to engineer just a couple of months later!
