Interesting. Are these the same cans that used to run over the Mojave? If I recall, that service was eliminated by implementing a pipeline(?)... I located Wunpost, and I've been to several of those nearby communities, but was unaware of Wunpost. Google shows both Texaco and Exxon/Mobil locations there. I suppose this rail service is the result of the coalesced bounty of the many pumpjacks that can be found throughout the foothills of this region? I always like visiting that part of California. There are still many locations uncluttered by 'progress' where one can ponder an earlier California of Jesuit Missions and Mexican ranchos.

Anyway, getting back to the topic at hand, what is the frequency of this service, and does it typically run the district at night or daylight? If at night, I guess it could be called the Canned Lark.
