Just yesterday (Sat. Oct 4, 2014) rode a Tenn Central Ry excursion which contained the Budd aluminum sided car said to have been Jackie Gleason's. TCRY first cited the "Gleason Car" in their Dec. 2003 club newsletter [tcry.org/newsletter/03-12.pdf]. With "a" car in someone's current possession, and I believe there IS title or paperwork "passed along" with such property, the "offered" photos of some decripit rail car sitting in a Miami AMTRAK yard likely are merely "believed" the Gleason car without benefit of paper trail. I propose the "privately owned" car run with the TCRY excursion most likely IS "the" former Gleason car. (and I see IT was linked to in 2001 - [tcry.org] ]
