However, BNSF does have a policy on the removal of dead animals on the Right of Way. Reference BNSF Hazard Communications Safety Briefing (Fax on demand #945)- Disposing of Dead Animals.

Some memorable highlights: ...a faceshield may be needed...if spattering or splashing appears likely, wear rain suits or protective overalls...Not all of the dead animals contain bad orgaisms, but you can't know for sure.
