If Watco gets some sort of a big bail out for the Kansas flooding you can bet they will start buying lines again. Too bad too. One possible hitch would be hazmat issues that surfaced a few years ago when the Indians wanted to buy the line to both preserve the freight service for their mill and to allow them to run a passenger train to their casino---I recently found out that they had paid some money to have some passenger cars held for them to buy. They got into a dispute with UP over mitigation of possible heavy metal contamination of the roadbed like was found between Plummer and Wallace.
