If Watco gets some sort of a big bail out for the Kansas flooding you can bet they will start buying lines again. Too bad too. One possible hitch would be hazmat issues that surfaced a few years ago when the Indians wanted to buy the line to both preserve the freight service for their mill and to allow them to run a passenger train to their casino---I recently found out that they had paid some money to have some passenger cars held for them to buy. They got into a dispute with UP over mitigation of possible heavy metal contamination of the roadbed like was found between Plummer and Wallace. MILWEST, the convention is at the Indian casino in Worley and I was told the joint meeting with the WI&M group was to take place at Bovill. Will have to check their websites to be certain.
