This is just the start of ten more years of fighting, and if and when any freight will move along these tracks is still problematic. These "objectors" are of the same ilk as those who shut down Hamilton Air Force base in my opinion. Instead of a private plane airport that could have handled a comuter flight they now have runways covered by a swamp. Regardless of how many trains use these tracks there will be one lawsuit after another until the whole idea is beaten to a pulp and everyone gives up. The great and learned city fathers from Petaluma, Cotati and Rohnert Park have not yet been heard from as well. I look to see a bike path from Marin to Willets soon.
