Virginia & Truckee #29 March 2nd, 2011

As part of the Central Coast/PLA trip operated on the Reno Snow Train, a charter on the Virginia & Truckee was operated using V&T 2-8-0 #29. In this photo, it is climbing out of Mound House, Nevada on the way back to Virginia City.

Certain establishment commonly found in Mound House are located down the hill about a quarter-mile to the left.
