My sources in WSDOT are along the lines with the title of this thread. They want to return the focus to passenger rail (and not as much of that) and roads. I hope your new business pans out and soon, a growing movement at WSDOT (at least with the people I'm forced to deal with) claims the rail freight (outside of serving ports of Seattle and Tacoma) is throwing money away on lost causes that could be better spend on roads, bike paths and buses (and political empire building). I look forward to learning more about the big customers that may be coming. Keeping them too secret could hurt the railroads in the long run as the public is eagerly looking for some positive news that they can get behind.
