If one is citing an article using the American Psychological Association and many other academic formats, only the first word in the title would be capitalized - no matter how the original title appeared. The only exception is proper nouns (e.g., San Francisco). My point is that there are different capitalization systems for citations and since Altamont doesn't have a style book, we are, I think, free to do what we will - in this case to copy letter for letter.
