One of those vehicles is, at times, UP Police. A now retired UP Police officer, used to pride himself in telling me that he "hated trains." He did by me lunch once after a law enforcement exercise and was generally friendly.

One better story (a few hours after taking the photo below) would be getting a ride in a UP Police car after having dinner and drinks. The officer was assigned to give me a ride back to my car from ICTF. He recognized me from Operation Lifesaver.
