"Cameron Beach" passes ...

Just saw the news on T.O. that BAERA/WRM Chairman 'Cameron Beach' died suddenly, Saturday morning, of a heart attack at age 62. I was saddened to read this as I knew Cam for many years after first meeting him on MUNI PCC # 1009 in the fall of 1964 on a Nor-Cal RR Club excursion. He was only 15-years old at the time. He was retired from being General Manager of Sacramento Regional Transit and was active in a number of organizations including his beloved "MUNI".
