The wires that had been removed were those going to the Santa Ana (Bellflower) Branch (which diverged to the east - right on the picture) and to the branch that diverges to the west (left on the picture). The 4 tracks, which ended at Watts, didn't have cantenary (i.e., they only had a running wire, no messenger wire).
