Montana April 2005

April of 2005 was the first time I shot the Montana Railink other than as part of the 4449 trip the previous fall. Other than that, I had not been in Montana since 1971. The frustrating thing was the number of things, such as the MILW, that had vanished since then.

Anywa, heading East out of Missoula in April of 2005 I shot this Eastbound coal empty with an assortment of BNSF power. It would make a stop in Garrison and pick up an MRL SD45 and then head up Mullan Pass.
