I'm really beginning to wonder why we are trying so hard to save Amtrak and public transportation in general. The way people behave these days traveling alone in my car is fast becoming the only way I'll travel. We have become a society where people have the "right" to act like total a--holes in public, take your screaming kid out to Denny's and trash the place and if someone dare say anything threaten to sue! You can't go to the mall anymore without being harrassed by groups of teens---from both the good and bad sides of the tracks---and you have to put up with it because they have the "right" to be in the public space, say anything they will follow you to your car and look out! Last time I flew in a plane was a total night mare, plane was on time, some jerk complained about it because he had planned on it being late and his ride wasn't gonna be there yet---threw a total fit at the baggage claim. In another part of the plane some woman was screaming to the stewardess the whole time that the plane was too hot, then too cold, gonna sue cause she was gonna get sick from the chill, plane had diet pepsi instead of diet coke, she was allergic to pepsi products and on and on......and this woman had the worst gas I've ever smelled!!! Yes women do fart!! In first class there was a married couple that fought---loudly---the whole time over brown spots in the lawn. I'll never fly again. It's just not worth it anymore!
