Tom Snyder: RIP at 71

Long-time host of NBC's "Tomorrow Show" passed away at 71. Why mention that fact here?
He was a big Lionel collector and rail buff.
One night in the early 1980's I was watching his talk show. He said that by popular request he was going to re-broadcast the most requested past episode of the "Tomorrow Show." Turns out that episode was a steam excursion in the 60's or 70's recreating the famed "Blue Comet." Tom and NBC crew hopped aboard to soak in the atmosphere and talk to passengers--one of which was inveterate rail traveler Rogers Whitaker ("E. M. Frimbo").
