I had always thought that a better route would have been the old PE route right up the middle of Mission to Huntington Drive and folled Huntington to the current route in Arcadia. It would have served the County Hospital, Santa Anita Racetrack and filled in the gap between the 10 and 210 freeways. Of course, San Marino might have objected!
