I lived in Selleck and went to the Selleck School from second through the 8th grade , 1950's to 1960's. There are no ghosts there and it is not haunted. It was a great place to bring up kids. There was fishing in the creek and at the mill pond where in the winter time it would freeze over. There were the foundations of the mill to play on. The logging camp on the back side of Selleck was in operation on and off for the time I live up there. I used to go up there and watch them load logs on the log train cars. They used a tall spare tree and a big wooden boom made from logs that would pick up the logs and swing them over the cars and lower them down on the cars. The bunk houses were still there along with a lot of equipment that was no longer used so my friends and I would play on it when they were not logging. When I was 14 I got a job washing the logging trucks on weekends. I planted our christmas tree in the yard one year when it got to big for the house, it was still there several years ago.
Tell you more later.
