As of Thursday June 23, there is 20 inches of snow on the pass. USFS just waits for the melt out as there is no logging going on there at the moment. Everybody else accesses through Kanasket. It is only a 3 mile hike down to the tracks from current end of road if you are ambitious and do not mind slogging through snow.
