Current news reports indicated support in the House and Senate for lifting a $100M cap for emergency funding to allow $250M for bridge replacement.

AP article link (near end of article)

"The White House said Friday the president supports "necessary funding" to rebuild the bridge. The Minnesota congressional delegation has sought $250 million."

Funny that they'll support that much for one bridge in one state, but not even as much for improving passenger rail for the whole country.
