One has to take into consideration that the anti NWP forces in Novato are probably recent arrivals from somewhere else. Most of the folks I know are happy to have the trains passing through Novato once again, as they have for decades. If and when the Novato dump reaches capacity and the garbage (the effluent of the affluent?)has to be taken elsewhere, would the short-sighted anti-train morons rather have hundreds of trucks rolling down US101 on a daily basis as compared to a train several times a week?
