Sure glad David is not riding the Tago Trains anymore.
They are quieter, run smoother and usually on time.
Where is the Starlight and Empire Builder along with the rest of Amtraks cross country train
run very ruff. Six trips in the past year on the long hauls and give me a Tago anytime.
The only exception on VIA is the train that goes from Winnipeg to Churchill and you will be all over the train. Once out of Thompson to Churchill the tracks are on Tundra and they have a excuse.
