Poor Quentin Kopp, what's wrong now at CHSRA? Is there not enough lipstick on the pig?

Being unable to "control" criticism of even the pro rail and pro high speed advocates who keep pointing out the waste and abuse in this poorly planned and grossly mismanaged project seems to be a problem for poor old Quentin? So obviously, you fix a problem like this by finding a scapegoat? Which shouldn't really be that hard given the levels of waste and incompetence evident at every level of this project, thus far.....?

Real reform legislation is finally making its way through the state legislature. It is still being amended, but calls for more oversight and more accountability to taxpayers. And, my guess is that until that passes, is signed, and the current unaccountable Board is replaced, it is clear that neither Brown nor Lockyer are not going issue many general obligation bonds to pay for this project, especially if it means laying off more teachers in our schools........?

We deserve a competently planned and cost effective high speed and intercity rail program in CA, fully integrated with our highly successful regional passenger rail systems. We just don't appear to have a competently governed or managed high speed and intercity program in California to do that, as yet.....

And, for once, Quentin Kopp might finally be right on something regarding the CHSRA, more "lipstick" doesn't make that pig any prettier.
