I can only speak to NRE's 3GS-21B gensets. Other than their inability to pull, stop, kick cars, and the ergonomic disaster that is the engineer's work space; they're great. Also constantly breaking down although that may be related to the carrier's maintenance practices and not the fault of the builder. Worst locomotive I've ever run and most of my co-workers agree.
