Incorrect. The oil spilled into Prince William Sound from the Exxon Valdez accident continues to kill birds and marine life 20 years later.
During an Amtrak trip across Pennsyvlania last week, we crossed a stream colored orange from acid mine drainage from an abandoned or active coal mine.
While I agree that nature is resilient, different incidents have different impacts. The best way to support your claim is to provide a citation from a wildlife biologist or wildlife ecologist regarding the long-term impacts of the Cantara Loop spill.
