Don't know what ever happened to Bill Shippen but he suddendly disappeared and Flimsies along with him. Many people had paid subscriptions including me and we never heard anything. Several railfans had slides that he had borrowed for book projects and then he just disappeared. Then a few years ago his wife was making an effort to contact them and return their material. Yes, it was a fun little magazine when it was around.
