Actually more technically is would be called multiple main track. :))

Double track refers to current of traffic territory where each main line is signaled in one direction only. Authority wise on the UP that would be either TWC or 9.14/9.15 current of traffic/track permit territory. Big difference operating wise from the 2MT CTC that is being built on the Sunset Route.
