Amtrak needs PTC, "Positive Truck Control" and cars with side impact crash protection, I posted
my buddies story over on Toad Orders of his trip back from X2011 on the CZ, only twenty hours late but the good news was that he was early for the wrong day's train. It's gonna take a lot more
than just a few new locomotives and it might be the time to rationalize the long distance trains
and retrench on the high density corridors. Either than or make the twenty hour late train a joy
to be upon.
