Collins Pine Notes

Visited the mill at Chester yesterday and noted Collins has a GE 70 tonner for sale (partly under cover)perhaps ex-Naval Weapons. Last started two years ago. Good for parts if nothing else. This is not the #166 which is nearby and non-functional. It, a snow plow that looks like a Red River hand-me-down and a speeder go to the museum near the office. Any interest in the loco contact Chris Verderber, the Chester Mill Manager at cverderber@collinsco.com, 530-258-4422. They are pretty friendly but I'm sure they only want serious inquiries. The loco is near the office and guard shack.
