First of all, Amtrak doesn't "operate that crossing", UP does. Second, what more does that douchebag attorney want for crossing protection?? Clear day, you can see a train for miles away, and as fast as that train goes through a crossing, all that moron had to do was simply take his foot off the throttle and let the truck coast towards the crossing when he SHOULD have seen the train (like everyone else). Amtrak 5 takes mere SECONDS to blast through a crossing at track speed, so the dickhead didn't even have to stop, if he had just paid attention and coasted. The fact that he couldn't see something as blatant as flashing lights and gates, couldn't hear a loud horn, nevermind seeing something as large as a TRAIN, tells anyone with half a brain cell left that the Davies Trucking is at total fault for hiring an unqualified, retard for a driver. THEY caused the accident, THEY are fully liable. This is just nothing more than blatant abuse of the legal system.
