LOCATION of Martell, Calif

For those not familiar with the area,
here is the location of Martell, California which is in the Central Sierra Foothills of California:
This is where the former Amador Central Railroad (shortline was operated)

Here is David Epling's railfan website about the former Amador Central Railroad which
sadly CLOSED on May 14, 2004

Wikipedia says the Amador Central Railroad (or Amador Foothills RR) ran the LAST TRAIN on May 10, 2004.
I wonder what happened on the other date of May 14 2004 ???
