For some twenty-five years, my parents owned 40+ acres of property on Lake Pend O'Reille(sic) in Sandpoint, Idaho near SAGLE... The Spokane International railroad (SI) ran across a corner of their property where they had a nice 4-room furnished cabin.
In later years the cabin kept getting vandalized. The property tax was a whopping $20 per year. Before they retired to Lebanon, Oregon from the SF Bay Area, they SOLD that property in
their property in Sandpoint. STUPID, huh ?? Wonder what it is worth now ??
